Mayan Mudslide Brownies

Ingredients 

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 3/4 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (I used dark cocoa)
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon finely ground sea salt + 1/8 teaspoon
  • 1 large avocado from Mexico, peeled, pitted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Mexican vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped lightly salted cashews
  • 1/3 cup shaved sweetened coconut
  • 1/3 cup canned dulce de leche
