Grilled Poblano Chile Burgers
Ingredients
- 2 fresh medium poblano or Anaheim chile peppers
 - 1 egg, lightly beaten
 - 3/4 cup soft bread crumbs (1 slice)
 - 1/2 cup shredded carrot
 - 2 tablespoons water
 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
 - 1 pound lean ground beef
 - 4 kaiser rolls, split and toasted
 - 4 slices red and/or orange tomato
 - Frozen avocado dip (guacamole), thawed (optional)
