Key Lime Cream Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 2/3 cup key lime juice
  • 3/4 cup sour cream

Frosting

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 – 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 – 16 ounce boxes confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup key lime juice (optional)
  • Green food coloring (optional for color)

Whipped Cream

  • 16 ounce . heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
