Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes with White Chocolate Crème Anglaise

Ingredients

For white chocolate creme anglaise

  • 6 ounces white chocolate, finely chopped
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 4 ounces whole milk
  • 4 ounces heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 vanilla bean

For pancakes

  • 8 ounces extra ripe bananas (~2 medium-sized bananas)
  • 8 ounces milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 stick butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon  vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon  salt
  • Dry roasted, unsalted macadamia nuts
