Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups freshly shelled peas
  • 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup fresh cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Freshly chopped basil and oregano
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons oil
