  • Lemon zest from 2 medium lemons (1 tablespoon)
  • 2 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely minced
  • 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour (stir, spoon & level method)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (4 ounce) cold butter
