  • 100 g softened butter
  • 4 deciliter sugar
  • 2 1/2 deciliter milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder or 1/2 vanilla bean
  • 5 deciliter all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons kirsch liqueur
  • Handful of fresh cherries
  • Pink food coloring

Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 2 1/3 deciliter sugar
  • 250 grams butter, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Pink food coloring
